We know that it’s important to get up and move around but I venture to say that if you’re like me, you don’t get up often enough. Unless you have one of those treadmill desks, you probably sit far too long. I’ve started walking more during the day and drinking a lot of water which they say is the healthy thing to do. Plus it does make you get up more to use the bathroom. : ) But unless we follow through on ways to actual get up off our behinds, we are not getting enough exercise. You look over various topics and ask yourself a few questions like –

  • Is this something I truly have an interest in?
  • Is it something I have a fair amount of knowledge and experience in?
  • Is it something that will hold my interest for the long haul?
  • Is there an audience, I mean is anyone else interested?
  • Is there a means for generating revenue?
  • Is the audience made up of buyers or browsers?

How Do I Add the Google Analytics Code to My Blog?

Previously we took a look at how to set up a Google account and retrieve your Google Analytics code. If you have not done so yet, watch this video, grab your code, and then join us back here.

You saved your code to a notepad file, right? BTW – be sure to save that file on your hard drive or expansion drive not simply on your desktop. Those desktop files are basically temporary as they are not backed up when you back up your hard drives.
